  4. And I am thankful that I finally found my way back to this place of gratitude.
  5. And I am thankful to see how small the vast world is.
  6. And I am thankful to learn that "hatha" yoga, famous for its stretchy poses, means "sun-moon" yoga; i.e., that the asanas are for merging the sun and the moon and then you can move on to other things like chanting or karma or bhakti yoga.
  7. And I am thankful to awaken and see that the world is still here.
  8. And I am thankful for music, people, nature, movement, organization, stretching, and helpfulness.
  9. And I am thankful for water.
  10. And I am thankful to hear of such sublime happiness.
  11. And I am thankful that I feel that life is good and meaningful and important, and that such reality comes back pretty soon after people take their nightmares somewhere else.
  12. And I am thankful for ability to shut out people's noisiness.
  13. And I am thankful for happiness, awareness, and lockness.
  14. And I am thankful for this positive thought I found on a notecard in my backpack: I will deliberately choose my thoughts so that I can feel better. I want to feel good, so I will try to feel good by choosing a thought that does feel good. [repeat until happy]
  15. And I am thankful for feeling better and for times when I decide that's what my purpose is from moment to moment till it kicks in.
